IsCham representatives were invited to visit Nanjing, on August 10th to 11th.
8月10日上午，商会会长悠福先生和商会董事罗称庚先生受邀到访中国宜兴环保科技工业园。工业园相关负责人对商会的来访表达了热烈的欢迎，并对商会一行介绍了宜兴以及工业园发展情况。以色列作为世界闻名的创新国度，双方以本次访问作为契机，希望能加深宜兴、工业园和以色列企业的交流联系。
On the morning of August 10th, Yuval Ben Sadeh, IsCham Chairman and Nathan Luo, IsCham Board Director visited the China Yixing Industrial Park for Environment Science & Technology. Officials from the park shown warmly welcome to IsCham and introduced the city and development of the Park. Israel is known as an innovative country, so both parties took this visit as a great opportunity to communicate and hoped to further the exchange between the city, the park and Israeli companies.
10日下午，商会一行来到宜兴污水新概念水厂参观，厂区负责人吴先生对“新概念”进行解释：在污水处理部分做到脱氮脱磷作为肥料供农业生产使用。随后，商会一行移步宜兴国际生命科学产业园（宜兴药谷），园区占地面积广大，对入园企业提高多方位支持。
In the afternoon, IsCham team visited Yixing Urban Wastewater Treatment Resource Concept Plant. Mr. Wu, Head of the Plant introduced the Concept that they reuse the waste water to extract the P and N for the use of farming. Next, IsCham team moved to Yixing International Life Science Industrial Park (Yixing Medicinal Valley). The park has a vast area and provides multiple support to the onsite companies.
8月11日上午，以色列驻上海总领事爱德华先生率新任副总领事洪以檀先生一行及商会会长悠福先生来到江宁高新区进行考察。商会江苏办事处及江宁高新区相关负责人参加会见并进行座谈。座谈会由江宁区副区长、江宁高新区党工委书记王爱军先生主持，会上，王爱军副区长首先对总领事一行和中以商会的到访表达了热烈的欢迎，随后对江宁区的发展情况进行介绍。今年5月，商会在区内成立了中国以色列商会江苏办事处，同时，进行了“江宁高新区（以色列）招商引智中心”线上揭牌仪式。希望能通过此次来访加深中以双方的了解，加强与以色列的合作交流。
On the morning of 11th August, the Consul General in Shanghai, Mr. Edward Shapira, the Deputy Consul General in Shanghai, Mr. Eytan Halon, and Mr. Yuval Ben Sadeh, ISCHAM's Chairman visited Jiangning Hi-Tech Zone. IsCham Jiangsu Office and officials from Jiangning Hi-tech Zone attended the meeting, which was hosted by Mr. Wang Aijun, the Party Secretary of Jiangning Hi-Tech Zone and Deputy Head of the Government of Jiangning District, Hi-Tech Zone. Mr. Wang started with a warm welcome then gave an introduction of the development of Jiangning district. Earlier in May, IsCham opened a Jiangsu branch office there while an opening ceremony was held online simultaneously from Tel Aviv, Shanghai and Nanjing for the Nanjing Jiangning Hi-Tech Development Zone (Israel) Investment and Talent Promotion Centre. We hope this visit will help to deepen mutual understanding, strengthen the cooperation and communication between Jiangning and Israel.
11日下午，商会出席了由江苏省外事办和以色列驻上海总领事馆共同主办的“江苏—以色列创新合作对话会”。会上，中以双方就目前省内中以创新合作情况进行了交流探讨。
In the afternoon, IsCham team attended the Jiangsu-Israel Dialogue on Innovation Cooperation, which was co-organized by Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai. During the meeting, both sides discussed the current innovative cooperation between Jiangsu province and Israel.
