On July 4, IsCham and INNONATION, in partnership with Tosee, hosted the Cross Border Innovation Forum at the Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel in Beijing. Representatives from more than 50 Israeli tech companies and hundreds of Chinese firms attended. Participating companies included fintech, internet and mobile technology, agritech, medtech, biotech, smart cars, and clean technology firms.
Company representatives connected in B2B (Business-to-Business) meetings around-the-clock. Panel topics included “The New Era of Globalization,” moderated by IsCham GM Ariel Briskin, in which panelists discussed international business cooperation in an era of unprecedented economic globalization.
Following the forum, IsCham helped organize an after-party at INNONATION Powerhouse. The party doubled as a celebration of the opening of the Powerhouse, and featured a ribbon cutting ceremony in its honor. While the forum focused on cross-border business connections, the after-party focused on forging cross-cultural ties, and attendees enjoyed Chinese and Israeli food and music.
