Today, Israel manages to produce 95% of its own food requirements despite the fact that most of the territories in Israel are unsuitable for farming and the constant shortage of water.

Collaboration between China and Israel in this field and adapting some of the new agriculture technologies from Israel can help China overcome some of the challenges on its way to next generation of China’s agriculture.

On July 6, IsCham was honored to present this special webinar with ViaMeshi Association, the Israeli Ministry of Economy & Industry, China-Israel Jizhi Technology & Ekpac, focusing on the most advanced smart agricultural technologies from Israel.
7月6号，中国以色列商会很荣幸与ViaMeshi协会、以色列经济与产业部、中以集知（广州）科技有限公司以及维昌洋行共同举办本次活动，聚焦以色列前沿智慧农业技术。

IsCham GM, Dr. Iris Kastoriano opened the event from Tel Aviv. Eve Ermichin, Head of Economic & Trade Mission in Southwest China at the Israeli Ministry of Economy & Industry sent greeting from Chengdu, followed by Litchie Lee, co-founder of China Israel Jizhi Technology Co. Ltd (Guangzhou) that provided an overview on the huge potential of agriculture cooperation between China and Israel.
中国以色列商会总经理 Iris Kastoriano博士从以色列特拉维夫连线致开幕辞，以色列驻华西南经济商务司商务领事尹美祺从成都连线致辞，中以集知（广州）科技有限公司联合创始人黎敏就中以农业合作的巨大潜力发表看法。
（Keynote Speech by Alvin Chan，Chairman at Ekpac | 维昌洋行主席陈大枝发表主题演讲）
The event’s Keynote speech was by Alvin Chan, Chairman at Ekpac. Alvin highlighted on How to Facilitate China-Israel Agricultural Cooperation by Financial Protocol, introduced the Israel government loan that could help to develop the agriculture in rural China. The keynote speech was concluded by a Q&A session, which gained lots of interest & questions raised by attendees.
维昌洋行主席陈大枝先生就“如何利用中以财政协议推动中以智慧农业技术合作”发表主题演讲，介绍了以色列的金融贷款项目如何帮助偏远农村地区发展农业。演讲后是问答环节，受到许多关注，在线观众就该贷款项目积极提问。
The last part of the event was a roadshow displaying 4 remarkable Israeli smart agricultural companies. IsCham members whom pitched in the roadshow are: Netafim，ICL，Etza and Bermad.
