More that 60 percent of territories in Israel are desert. After its establishment, the country suffered from water shortage for several decades. Now, Israel has became a nation that produces 20 percent more water than it needs and even supplies water to its neighboring countries.

Israel managed it by pioneering and unprecedented wealth of technological innovation and infrastructure to prevent the country from drying up.

Both China and Israel are facing the same issue-not enough available water resources; we all need to secure enough safe water to catch up the fast economic growth. The Chinese government has responded by measures such as rapidly building out the water infrastructure and increasing regulation as well as exploring a number of further technological solutions.
中国和以色列都面临着同样的问题——缺水，两国都需要获得足够且安全的水资源，跟上经济发展的脚步。对此，中国政府采取了一系列措施应对水资源紧张的问题，如加快建设水利基础设施，完善规章制度，加强监管力度，探索新的技术解决方案。
On June 15th, IsCham together with ViaMeshi Association hosted an online event showcasing the Israeli innovative water treatment solutions. The event was co-organized with China-Israel Jizhi (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd, with the support from The Israeli Economic Mission in Guangzhou.
6月15日，中国以色列商会联合ViaMeshi协会主持了本场线上活动，展现了以色列的创新水处理技术。本次活动由中以集知（广州）科技有限公司联合举办；在以色列经济与贸易办公室的支持下举办。
The event began with opening remarks from Yuval Ben Sadeh, Chairman at IsCham, who is also an expert in the water treatment ecosystem, Ben Haimi, Economic Consul at Consulate General of Israel in Guangzhou and Litchie Lee, Co-founder of China Israel Jizhi (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd.
活动开始由中国以色列商会会长悠福先生致开幕辞，他同时也是水处理业界知名的专家，接着以色列驻广州总领事馆经济领事海本继先生致辞，中以集知（广州）科技有限公司联合创始人黎敏女士致辞。
The opening remarks were followed by our roadshow. Five innovative Israeli water treatment companies introduced their excellent technologies. Attendees from related sectors raised questions to the companies after the pitching about their technologies and successful projects in China.
活动接着是路演环节，5家以色列创新水处理技术公司介绍了各自的出色技术。行业内的参会观众在提问环节十分踊跃，对其技术和国内的成功项目争相提问。
