10月20日，中国以色列商会与以色列国家基金（KKL）联合主办了“中以环保与可持续发展国际研讨会”线上活动。
On October 20th, IsCham and Keren Kayemet Le’Israel (KKL), hosted the online webinar “Come and Meet KKL” – introducing the growing relationship of China and Israel in the field of environment protection and sustainable development.
本次活动，我们十分荣幸请到了以色列水利部长兼高等教育部长（原环保部长）泽埃夫·埃尔金先生就以色列的水管理、环保等话题与我们分享见解。埃尔金部长表示，中以两国在包括水管理等多个环保领域的合作前景广阔。
Israel’s former Minister of Environment Protection, and today, Minister of Water Resources and Minister of Higher and Complementary Education, Mr. Zeev Elkin shared his insights on Israel’s ongoing operations in water management and environmental protection, suggesting that both China and Israel share a broad possibility for unlimited future cooperation in the field.

KKL’s vision, operations and practices in education and many aspects of the environmental industry were presented. Various KKL projects developed in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak were also brought to light. The webinar raised awareness and welcomed new insight about KKL and its mission to the Chinese audience.

以色列国家基金（KKL）是以色列的建国者和最负盛名的环保组织，自1901年成立以来，KKL一直以犹太人的名义担任以色列犹太人土地的托管者，并示意拥有以色列土地的12.5%。120年间，KKL一直致力于以色列土地和可持续开发、支持国家项目、环境科研与教育等。此次线上活动，是KKL在中国的首次公开亮相。通过与中国环保行业人士的交流，增进双方相互理解，从而使后续合作成为可能。
Keren Kayemet Le’Israel (KKL) has played a major role in founding the State of Israel. Since its establishment in 1901, KKL has long served as a trustee in the name of the Jewish people and conserves approximately 12.5% of the total land of Israel. KKL has since been in charge of developing the lands of Israel for a sustainable future and supporting national environmental projects. Some of KKL’s areas of expertise include: Research and Development, education and growing the peripheral communities. This webinar marks KKL’s first public appearance in China. The organization was able to answer many questions coming from China’s environmental industry, enhancing their understanding of China’s needs, and potentially making way for future and long-term cooperation possibilities.

本次线上活动还邀请到来自以色列化工集团（ICL）代表介绍其在可持续发展的目标与实践。最后，以色列Watergen公司介绍了其空气制水技术。
The event continued with an overview from ICL Group, introducing their goals and visions for sustainable practices and ended with a presentation from Watergen, an Israel-based tech company using innovative technologies to create a water–from-air solution for fresh and accessible water.
