On February 21th, IsCham together with ViaMeshi held another fascinating Experts Talk China Webinar. The webinar featured Vanessa Albuquerque, Privacy and Corporate Lawyer at BNLS Law Firm and Ariel Davis, Global VP at Azami Global. Hosted by Tsilil Kleiman, General Manager of ViaMeshi, the experts shared their knowledge on data compliance in China and intellectual property.

Vanessa Albuquerque, Privacy and Corporate Lawyer at BNLS Law Firm introduced the Chinese regulatory framework for data compliance, and presented the mechanism of transferring overseas personal information collected in China, and how to comply with cross-border transfers requirements. At last, Vanessa shared practical advice on how to develop a data compliance strategy.

Ariel Davis, Global VP at Azami Global shared his knowledge about intellectual property in the corporate world, a valuable information for Israeli companies who have patents, and wish to enter the Chinese market. Ariel introduced two treaties related to patent protection, and explained in detail how companies that have registered patents in Israel can apply for patents in China, and how this can be beneficial.
