On February 1st, A MoU was signed in Beijing by The Israeli Chamber of Commerce of China (“IsCham”) and China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (“CBCGDF”) on environmental cooperation. The two parties will cooperate on various fields in environmental protection. Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of CBCGDF, and Yuval Ben Sadeh, Chairman of IsCham signed the MoU on behalf of the two sides.
2月1日，中国以色列商会（简称“以商会”）与中国生物多样性保护与绿色发展基金会（简称“绿发会”）在北京签署关于开展环保合作的备忘录，双方将围绕环保领域的多个议题开展中以间的合作与交流。绿发会秘书长周晋峰博士、以商会会长悠福代表双方签署合作备忘录。
Per the MoU, the two sides will focus on the fields of biodiversity protection, food tech, water treatment, desertification control, sustainable development and environmental education by jointly organizing online & offline meetings and events for promoting social awareness in environmental protection of Israel and China.
根据此次签署的合作备忘录，双方将重点围绕生物多样性保护、食品科技、水管理、林业与荒漠化防治、可持续发展与环境教育等领域开展合作，共同组织线上线下多种形式的会议和活动，推动中以各界在环保领域合作的参与度。
In addition, the two sides discussed the possibility of implementing Israel’s know-how on desertification control and water treatment in Northwest China and proposed organizing the first event in 2021.
此外，双方还探讨了以色列荒漠化防治与水管理技术经验在中国西北地区的应用，并形成了双方于2021年春节后进行首次活动的初步意见。
