To answer those questions and more, a unique seminar was held on March 1st focusing on innovation, trends and technology in the Israeli Auto-Tech and in the China’s automotive industry.
为了回答这些问题以及进行更深入的探讨，3月1日，一场聚焦以色列汽车技术和中国汽车产业创新工艺与发展方向的研讨会拉开帷幕。
As of 2023, Israel Auto Tech has over 700 start up companies and R&D centers, every year about 10% new companies are founded in the Auto Tech industry. A Mckinsey report from August 2019 stated that "Israel is on the road to become a global AutoTech Hub", citing Cyber and AI as leading strenghs of Israeli Auto Tech. Many world leading AutoTech companies have opened R&D centers and offices in Israel such as Geely, BMW, Honda, SAIC and many more.

With China’s 5 year plan in mind, promotion of innovation and technology will be most likely the focus of Chinese investments in the following years. IsCham together with China-Israel Innovation Hub (CIIH shanghai), with the support of the Israeli General Consulate in Shanghai, the Israeli Commercial consul in Shanghai and the Israeli Tourism Consul co-organized this unique seminar focusing on innovation, trends and technology in the Israeli Auto-Tech and in the China’s automotive industry.
立足于中国的五年计划，大力发展创新和科技很可能是未来几年中国投资的重点。在以色列驻上海总领事、以色列驻上海商务领事和以色列国家旅游部参赞的支持下，中以商会与中国-以色列上海创新中心共同举办了本次聚焦以色列汽车技术和中国汽车产业创新工艺与发展方向的研讨会。
Representatives from the Israeli government, Chinese Automotive sector, and investors came to the seminar that was held at the China Israel Innovation Hub (CIIH Shanghai). The seminar featured several lectures, featuring opening remarks from the new Israeli Consul General in Shanghai Ms. Ravit Baer; the General Manager at the CIIH Mr. Qiang Hao; the Economic Consul in Shanghai and South China Mr. Ben Haimi; the Israeli Tourism Consul Mr. Roy Kriezman and the Chairman of IsCham Mr. Yuval Ben-Sadeh.

Opening speeches were followed by lectures regarding future trends at the Automotive industry in China, focusing on the New Energy Vehicle.
开场环节过后是关于中国汽车行业未来趋势的讲座，重点聚焦新能源汽车。
The second half of the seminar included a roadshow displaying 7 remarkable Israeli companies with the aim of introducing Israel’s innovative Automotive technology to Chinese audiences. Ischam members presented on a wide range of technologies that could be used in the automotive field, from chips to autonomous driving. Featuring Opsys, VisiC, Cipia, Newsight, Foretellix, CityTransformer, DriveU and the Chinese Tech company Hui Kun Electronics.

The seminar was followed by casual networking between Israeli companies and Chinese companies, enabling further understanding, and inspiring collaboration between the two nations.
