For four years, Innonation’s China-Israel Investment Summit has been the premiere event for cross-border collaboration between Israel and China. The 4th Summit took place on July 2-3th in China’s Guangdong province – home to several special economic zones with incentives for foreign firms. By uniting leading players from the Israeli high tech scene with Chinese partners drawn to Israeli Innovation, the summit lay the groundwork for partnerships that, to date, have yielded over $4 billion in proposed investments.
Innonation’s 4thth China-Israel Cross Border Innovation Summit featured 150 Israeli tech companies, over 7000 Chinese investors, strategic players, and customers – and over 4000 prescheduled B2B meetings. This cross-border networking summit featured B2B meetings around-the-clock, tech company pitches and roadshows, as well as lectures and panels by China-Israel experts. Companies ranged from biotech to smart city technologies. Pitch sessions included IsCham members Spotad, Watteam, PovMov, Gynotech, Netafim, G-medical, Gencell, and more. All spoke about their companies’ innovative, patented technologies designed to solve human problems, and their desire to expand their reach by partnering with Chinese investors and engineers.
The event kicked off in Zhuhai with 3000 attendees and 120 Israeli tech companies.
